Logo: Various Pt. 2

For the fourth time, I was asked to develop the logo for the new project from 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks. In this case a spiritual successor to Hexen 2 called Graven. While my version is somewhat different in treatment than the final one used by the client, it was approved and I like mine more anyway.
Early 2016, when I was freelancing, I was lucky enough to do various jobs for Magic Leap. I'm unsure if this project ever went anywhere, but I was asked to do the logo nonetheless. I've cut the logo up in the various parts that come together to form the full composition. A fun project for sure.
While rummaging through my files I came across this project from 2014, which I completely forgot about. The game 3D Realms released in 2016, BombShell, started life as Duke Nukem Mass Destruction, before being renamed Duke Nukem Survivor. If I recall correctly. Anyway, thought it was fun enough to put on here.
Below you'll see a selection of the logos I’ve developed over the years. Some of these were used, some ended up being scrapped, either through the client moving in a different direction or the project being dropped entirely. That doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a spotlight, though.
Back in 2014, the world of Dr. Grordbort was beginning to take it's first digital steps. A game was in development at Florid based startup Magic Leap and New Zealand's Weta. I was asked to develop the logo. I jumped at the chance to dive back in to this world of space violence, male bravado and chest-beatery. Please note: in the final version that was released together with the game's reveal, the Dr. Grordbort's typography was changed.
